LOVE
Chuck Brown featuring Jill Scott

Love!
Thats what weve got. Thats what we need. Sing it with me.
Love!
Baby, thats how it is. Thats how its sposed to be. We all need it.
Love!
Tell me what makes the world go round and wipes away your frown?
Love!
L-O, L-O, L-O, L-O-V-E.
Love!

(Chuck Brown)
5 oclock, Friday & you just got paid.
A long, hard week of workin you like a slave.
You walk through the door, and she done fixed you a plate.
Now, THATS love, love, love!
Had one too many, and you cant even drive.
You call your baby up in the middle of the night.
She rose outta bed to come and give you a ride.
Now, THATS love, love! (Tell me what you know about it.)

(HOOK)
Love!
Thats what weve got. Thats what we need. Sing it with me.
Love!
Baby, thats how it is. Thats how its sposed to be. We all need it.
Love!
Tell me what makes the world go round and wipes away your frown?
Love! (Say it for me!)
L-O, L-O (Sing it with me!)
L-O, L-O (Say it for me!) V-E.
Love!

(Jill Scott)
A dozen red roses on a random day.
Soul Food Sunday with your family.
Stand in a circle, hold hands, and pray. Now, THATS love!
(Background singers: love, love, love)
A little Al Green, little Marvin Gaye.
Earth, Wind, & Fire, Donny Hathaway.
(Background singers: Hathaway)
THE Aretha Franklin, & Stevie. They sing about love!
(Now, tell me what you know about it.)

(HOOK)
Love!
Thats what weve got. Thats what we need. Sing it with me.
Love!
Baby, thats how it is. Thats how its sposed to be. We all need it.
Love!
Tell me what makes the world go round and wipes away your frown?

As long as we lovin, and we got each other,
It aint nothin wrong with that!
We got love!

Gotcha, Baby. Witcha through thick & thin.
Gettin through your troubles time and time, again.
From day one you knew you had a perfect blend.
Now, THATS love, love, love!
Now, inspiration is my number one forte.
A few converts each and every day.
Still be together when youre old and gray.
Now, THATS love, love! (Tell me what you know about it.)

(HOOK)
Love!
Thats what weve got. Thats what we need. Sing it with me.
Love!
Baby, thats how it is. Thats how its sposed to be. We all need it.
