Love's Train Lyrics

Mmmmm
Mmmmm baby
Baby
Hey
Come on
Come on baby (come on baby)
Come on baby (come on baby)
Hey
Oh yeah
Hit me off, hit me off, hit me off now
Baby
Come on baby
Come on baby (come on baby)
Alright
All night

Warm night
Can't sleep
Too hurt
Too weak
Gotta call you up
I-I-I-I-I-I-I gotta call you up
Dial that number
No one answers
'Till 2 o'clock (2 o'clock)

And if by chance
You'll let me come over
Out on the street
I wanna see you baby
And if by chance you'll let me just hold ya
I'm down on my knees
I want to please you baby
Hey
(I'll be a righteous lover)

She says
Sugar
Honey
Darling
I really wanna see you too (I wanna please you yeah)
It's just that someone's over
And I really wanna be with you
Say yeahhh
But if by chance
You'll let me just hold you
I'm cold and I'm free
I want to see you baby
When in need
You said you would be here
(I love you honey)

If you find that special lover
Love keeps you tied to another
That's the way it goes on love's train
Sometimes heart strings can be broken
But you've just got to keep on going
That's the way it goes on love's train
Ah yeah
Baby

If you sorrow you've been soakin
You've just got to keep on strokin
That's the way it goes on the love train
Oh

If you are that special lover
Love gives you time to another
That's the way it goes on the love train
(I said I could feel it, now)

On a warm night
Lady wants her baby so she calls him up
Dial that number,
No one answers till 2 o'clock
If by chance you'll just come over
Cause darling, please
I've got to see you baby
And when I need you you said you would be here
And now I'm in need and
(I love you darling)
If you find that special lover
Love keeps you tied to another
That's the way it goes on Love's train
(Don't need no, don't need no ticket to ride)
Sometimes heart strings can be broken
But you just have to keep on going
That's the way it goes on love's train
(Listen babe, listen baby, babe)
If it's sorrow you've been soaking (?)
You just have to keep on stroking
That's the way it goes on love's train
(Love's a hurtin' thang, don't it make you you wanna cry, c'mon)
If you find that special lover
And love keeps you tied to another
That's the way it goes on love's train
(Find yourself alone)
Sometimes heart strings can be broken
But you just have to keep on strokin'
That's the way it goes on love's train
(In time everything's gonna be alright)
If it's sorrow you've been soaking (?)
You just have to keep on strokin
That's the way it goes...(fade out)

Dru Hill is an American singing group, most popular during the late 1990s, whose repertoire includes R&B and soul music. Founded in Baltimore, Maryland and active from 1992 to 2005, Dru Hill recorded seven Top 40 hits, and is best known for the R&B #1 hits "In My Bed", "Never Make a Promise", and "How Deep is Your Love". Tamir "Nokio" Ruffin was the group's founder and leader; his bandmates included main lead singer Mark "Sisqó" Andrews, Larry "Jazz" Anthony, and James "Woody" Green. Signing to Island Records through Haqq Islam's University Records imprint, Dru Hill released two successful LPs before separating for a period from late 1999 to 2002, during which time Sisqó and Woody released solo albums. In 2002, by then part of the Def Soul record label, the group reunited and added fifth member Rufus "Scola" Waller to the lineup for their third LP, Dru World Order. Dru Hill recently reformed and plans to release a new album, Indrupendence, which will harbor songs like "Get Loose" and "If You Fall" that can now be heard on www.myspace.com/indrupendence. The new album will not include Woody or Scola, but will include new group member Tao. Tao won a spot in the group after winning a competition by singing a transcendent version of Stevie Wonder's "Lately." Tao's audition can be seen on www.druhillonline.com. Read more on Last.fm.
