Simone Telease, a singer/songwriter native to Oakland CA, uses harmonies and rawness to create fresh, unique sounding tunes. She found her love for music at a very young age. Her parents introduced her to a vast array of songs and albums, so it was not hard for Simone to fall in love with artists like Amel Larrieux, Brandy, and Amerie. Drawing inspiration from other artists as well such as Minnie Riperton, Jill Scott, and Sylvia Robinson, she began developing her craft at the young age of six in her elementary school choir. Shortly after, Telease began writing short fiction novels which soon led to her to discover her passion for songwriting by the age of eight. In her childhood, she would often spend hours in her room writing songs and singing after school, and would often have to be told to quiet down after hours of creating.
When she was 22, Telease was eager to take on the challenge of heating up the music industry and creating a legacy. She shared her sound with the world starting with the release of her first EP "Elevation" on November 20, 2018. Elevation was a collection of nostalgic, yet new school sounds written by Telease herself, and produced by talented producers such as Ashton McCreight, Spencer Stevens, and K. Luci.
