Widetrack was founded in 2005 in Michigan, USA. Their debut album was released in April 2007, followed by Widetrack II, released in December 2009. Catering to the "approaching midlife crowd who still want an edge to their deep-thought rock”, the music retains a driving energy and melodic sense that compliments its dark and moody undertones. Buzz on the group has been building since performing at the 2007 and 2008 Voodoo Music Experience shows in New Orleans with such artists as The Mars Volta, Porcupine Tree, Stone Temple Pilots, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against the Machine, The Black Crowes and many more.
