Zak G, rap deviant, is a biological amalgam of anger and frustration forced to thrive in a deteriorating capitalist wasteland. His self-produced music ranges from familiar melodic electronic pulse to challenging and jarring layers of noise-as-texture, in perfect lockstep with his lyrical subject matter. Combining working class escapism with confrontational realist narratives, we arrive at the worldview of rapper/producer/visual artist Zak G.

Many years of punk and metal bands, DJ sets, home recordings, and experimentation lead to Zak G emerging and remaining a fulcrum of the New Haven, CT scene since 2013. DIY is at the core of his ethos, handling all of the production and artwork himself to craft a consistent vision.
