Blaq Diamond - made up of Ndumiso Mdletshe and Sphelele Dunywa - fuse Maskandi, Mbube and other traditional elements into their pop-leaning iteration of afro soul. Fittingly, they describe their sophomore album 'Umuthi' as "Mbube, African sounds from the mountains."
