Overself was created in April 2019, in San Diego, California.
The group consists of Peter Tueller (vocals, guitars, synths), Oscar Paez (bass) and Alex Meza (drums).

Their sound has evolved to become a mixture of post-punk, post-rock, shoegaze and a touch of indie.
