BLOODLAST was formed in 2008 in Minsk, Belarus. After releasing a handful of demos in 2008-2010 the band dropped their debut full-length album «The Vault» in 2011. Throughout the next decade the band lived through a number of significant line-up changes after each major release. In 2016 they've released an EP titled «The Man Doesn't Change» and after that the band focused on single releases up to the year 2022, when some of the new songs were added to the already existed tracks to form their second LP «Devil Himself». With another major line-up change right after, the band faced its fourth incarnation and once again focused on singles, working on a new album with no set release date.

The music style of the band is often described as melodic death metal, although their music incorporates minor various elements of other metal subgenres such as groove metal, death metal, deathcore and others.
