Andrew Nieporent is a singer-songwriter that has been writing and performing for almost ten years, earning himself a place as a staple in the New Jersey folk and indie scene. Andrew has recorded seven studio albums, and two live albums with another on the way. Surrounding himself with musicians during his time at Ramapo College, Andrew has also helped to write and record music with a variety of other acts from New Jersey and elsewhere.

Helping to not only promote his own music but also art and culture in general, Andrew ran an open mic at the Ridgewood Coffee Company on and off for three years. He is continuing to help give back, as he works toward a Masters degree in Music Therapy at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey, where he is currently based.

He spent the last year recording his new studio album, Moth, taking his "honest indie folk" sound in new sonic directions with the help of a large cast of collaborating musicians and fresh lyrical inspiration.
