22 year old producer turned artist Emerson Vernon began his project “wolfi” in late 2017 with his first album “Black”. Wolfi began releasing music solely as a vehicle to display his songwriting capabilities and build a portfolio to showcase his lyricism to other artists. After seeing mild success online, wolfi followed up “Black” with a long string of singles and EPs all throughout 2018. In the meantime of this, wolfi has been crafting his sophomore album delicately from scratch. Nearly every wolfi release is created entirely by his own hands. The amount of time and energy put into his work is incomparable to those of mainstream artists. Wolfi thoughtfully tailors his lyrics, holds his production to a cinematic standard, and continues to mature his ear in mixing and mastering his own work.
