The real name of the band is White Noise. It is a studio operation which recorded in Southern California from 1990 to the present. From 1990 to 2005, it was principally lyrical rock, with all instruments, composition, and production by Robert Treuhaft. Vocals by Treuhaft, Katherine Etzel, and Debbie Lowe. Influences are Beatles, Zappa, Salonen, and XTC. Currently, and soon to be posted, White Noise is jazz -- Robert is learning the trumpet. Influences are Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Lee Morgan, and Wynton Marsalis. Albums include Eclectic Signs, Mad at the Moonlight, and a collection of holiday jingles. Photography by Theresa Kennedy.
