The drummer and co-founder of US progressive thrash metal band Tourniquet, known for his technical high-speed drumming.

Kirkpatrick's solo endeavors include the instrumental stoner metal album "Ode to a Roadkill" (2010) and the album "In the Shadow of the Masters" (2010), on which he plays the drums along to classical music tracks.

He has also released a Christmas album called "Ancient Christmas" (2011), and compiled a spoken word album of collected tales and poems by American writer Edgar Allan Poe in 2012.
