Winter '88 saw the arrival of aerosbass Ingineur Phil Blomberg (->), and a change of name to Dreamgrinder.

'89 seesawed backup riffs between Jonathan Ellerington and Tim Sealy, who left before first release, EP 'Deeps and Shallows' on the avant garde label. 3 songs with producer Jamie Stewart were combined with Deeps and Shallows as cupboard-cleaner, hypno-goth 'Guide to Black Psychedelia' on EFA/Houses in Motion.

Early '92 Dreamgrinder audition-choice, Cornish Kevin Butterly (right) brought a seasoned diversity of rhythmic harmony and drivebeats from his jazz and orchestral experience and positions in Plague of Innocence and World Mania.

During an extended period of musical exploration sifting the clouds of technolgy Dave has also turned to dance music, through mixing desk and ciruitboard parametring, building dialog whilst Al's atmosphere definition expanded to include guitar and keyboard.

The band's sound continues to evolve, diversify and mature whilst their insight and conviction brush from critically acclaimed album Agents of the Mind in auromatic oils with Dead or Alive and Depeche Mode producer Zeus Beheld in recent sessions described as 'productive'.

Locally, Dreamgrinder were active collectively and fractally. As well as playing to an appreciative audience at the Colosseum, Coventry in late '99 several members formed part of musical collective 'The Notables'.

Individual appearances have been at pro-peace and human rights demonstrations such as Campsfield, and a candidacy for the Save Coventry Council Housing Party in recent local elections.
