Diamond Soul aka Alex Colombo finds footwork music at it's most warped and abstracted, the underlying triplet rhythms often acting as a ghost floating below the sonics above. Featuring guest appearances by Honnda, Rob Jacobs (of the band Wei Zhongle), and Rana, Augmented Reality is also feels distinctly song and composition oriented, slightly eschewing the house-music and mixtape tradition of footwork in beautiful ways.
