After serving as a radio station director, he studied under recording engineer Shin-ichi Akagawa. Currently, he is active in field recording of natural sounds and environmental sounds. In addition to recording according to company orders and distributing natural sounds on his own label UZrecords, he released the natural sound album "sound-scape" series.
