TagYerit was formed in 1995 by Rich & Flo Newman
Flo sings and plays her way cool bunny-shaped guitar the "rabbitcaster". Rich plays bass.
A different drummer joins them on each recording project.

Heavy Construction was released in 1996 and made it on Guitar Player magazines' Editors Picks List, "... Full of the pure joy of words and music". The song Subway Surfing was used in 2006 in Atari / Marc Ecko's video game "Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure." It was rereleased as The Getting Up Anthem, with Rakim & Talib Kweli rapping over the sampled beats and Flo singing the Subway Surfing chorus. While the video game stalled, the sound track won MTV's Best Video Game soundtrack for that year.

TagYerit also released Tubeman in 1999 and Gazing Globe in 2006.
