Violinist Leonid Levin received honors as violin -soloist at the State Moscow Music Gnesins Academy. After emigrating to the USA,
he became concertmaster of the Savannah and Omaha Symphony Orchestras and was a winner at the International Violin Competition in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
A former member of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, he performed under the baton of the great guest conductors Eugene Ormandy, Robert Shaw, and Curt Mazur.
L.Levin appeared as
guest concertmaster of the Americas Symphony (Florida).
As 1st violinist of the Elysium String Quartet he made his New York Debut at the
Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
Mr. Levin has given numerous recitals across the USA and Europe and has
recently released
