The Synapse Project is generally a solo project fronted by Lord Spunky, and based in Yeovil, Somerset, England.

Since 1999 The Synapse Project have made 11 albums, recently self releasing them on Amazon.com.

Currently The Synapse Project are working on two new albums, the first Ego Invenio is another concept album following from their 2006 release Ego Ruina, while the second, Genetics, will feature many different styles.
