After a trip to Nashville, Jane was fortunate to be introduced to Producer, Craig Stull. Craig’s work can be heard on the television series, King of the Hill and Spin City. His film credits include Armageddon, My Best Friend’s wedding and Tin cup. He has also played guitar on albums for Shawn Colvin, Celin Deon, and is on Rick James’s upcoming album. For “Gypsy Cowgirl” Craig was inspired by the variety in Joni Mitchell’s album “Court and Spark” and chose to work with a wide spectrum of guitar influences that include cowboy, Flamenco, country rock, and Django Reinhardt swing guitar stylings.

World musicians she met during workshops at the Musicians Institute, Los Angeles, also influenced Jane. She was fortunate to meet music artists from Sweden, Germany, Brazil, and Japan. During this time, she began co-writing with two guitar players from Tel Aviv, Israel, Sagi Benado and Ori Huberman. Musicians Institute is a block from Hollywood Boulevard and inspired Jane and Sagi Benado to write the two songs, “Hollywood Love” and “Let’s Get This Party Started”. With Ori Huberman, Jane wrote, “Candles and Stars” which was created to be a universal holiday song in tribute to the powerful spiritual influences of Israel.

Robert Poole II, who is an Emmy Award winning sound editor, co-wrote Right as Rain, I Never Told A Soul, Cowboy Lullaby, Wishing Well, Barkin’ Dog, If You’ve Loved Once, Lifted by The Wind and "Why's He Always A Fool" which appears in the television movie, "Undercover Angel" starring Yasmine Bleeth, Casey Kasem and James Earl Jones. The album cover and booklet is a compilation of travel photos taken in Italy, Kauai, Venice Beach, Ca, and the Grand Canyon. Jane Marie was blessed to work with artist and Renaissance woman, Aretta Gottke, who completed Gypsy Cowgirl with soulful visual images.
