Cristian Petcu was born on 9 April 1993 in Bucharest, Romania. He lives with his parents also in Bucharest, Drumul Taberei District. He started to produce music under the stage name "BassType" in 2008 with a computer program. In 2009, he released the hit song " I wanna be with you ". The song was selected to play on radio stations in Romania, also in Russia. After this BassType released the new single "On my way to freedom" alongside with Chriss, that it had a real succes. At the end of 2009 BassType released a new song " Everything", a new style for Romania, Eurodance." Everything " is produced together with Joshua (The voice). This song was selected on many online albums and is listening in almost all Europe. For 2010 BassType prepares the debut album. Read more on Last.fm.
