Rocketed to earth when the distant planet Krypton exploded and bitten by radioactive marmots, Local Anxiety (aka Mark Leiren-Young and Kevin Crofton) has been writing and performing eco-comedy since before Al Gore invented the environment.

TV appearances include CBC’s Sketch-com, The Jim Byrnes Show and multiple appearances on Canada AM. They’ve received a Washington State Press award for their work with NPR, and received numerous commissions from CBC Radio. They’ve also been heard on Dr. Demento.

They’ve headlined at most major Canadian comedy festivals and have played theatres across Canada.
