A vital part of the unlikely musical scene of Terre Haute, Indiana, nativemind have been playing shows since 2003. They have released one album, 2006's Beauty in Motion, and are currently working on another. They are self-described as "straight ahead alternative rock with funk and blues for taste."

Members are guitarist/vocalist David Goodier, John Murray on lead guitar and vocals, Eric Rasley on bass, boards, and mandolin, and Scott Reeves on drums.
