One More Whiskey Song Lyrics

He never liked going out that much
He never really got along with my friends
You think I wouldn't be so hung up

Yeah I know it don't make much sense
But here I am

Trying to have one good night
Drown him out with the girls downtown
But all of these cover bands get on a roll
And bring me back down

If I hear one more whiskey song
About some bar you're leaning on
Drinking about a boy who used to be the one
Until you messed it up, and now he's gone

We all came here to have fun
Not get drunk and miss someone
Want to get him off my mind
But man I won't
If I hear one more whiskey song

You can sing about fishing in the dark
You can sing sweet home Alabama
If you gotta do a drinking one
At least make it about a half-full glass
Instead of that same old

Too slow
Too sad
Three four
Heartbroken one where it all goes wrong
I swear I'm going to have to head home

If I hear one more whiskey song
About some bar you're leaning on
Drinking about a boy who used to be the one
Until you messed it up, and now he's gone

We all came here to have fun
Not get drunk and miss someone
Want to get him off my mind
But man I won't
If I hear one more whiskey song
If I hear one more whiskey song
If I hear one more whiskey song

It'll just remind me that he's gone (ah, yeah...)
Yeah, we all came here to have fun
Not get drunk and miss someone
Want to get him off my mind
But man I won't
If I hear one more whiskey song
If I hear one more whiskey song
(Yeah...)
If I hear one more whiskey song

I want to get him off my mind
But man I won't
If I hear one more whiskey song
