Oooh Lyrics

Looking at my watch, it's almost two
Called me and said to get ready, you comin' through
Want your girl to spend a little time wit you
Boy, you must be buggin' 'cause now you got me rushin'

You roll up in my drive way, you beeped twice
Got me lookin' at you sideways, you lookin' right
But you actin' kinda funny what's on you mind
Damn, I left my wallet at the house, we gotta go back

Oooh, oooh I been thinking about all the things that we could do
But I don't know if I could get down wit you
It's got me contemplating, I don't think I'm ready
I don't think I'm ready, baby, I don't think I'm ready, baby

Oooh, oooh I been thinking about all the things that we could do
But I don't know if I could get down wit you
It's got me contemplating, I don't think I'm ready
I don't think I'm ready, baby, I don't think I'm ready, baby

We pulled up to your crib and you walked in
Said, you'd only be a minute but it's been 10
Your motioning for me to come on in
You done lit the candles expecting red light special

I know just what you're thinking, you wantin' me
But I'm two seconds from telling you I wanna leave
You put your arms around my, my body
And I don't know what to do, baby, now I want you too

Oooh, oooh I been thinking about all the things that we could do
But I don't know if I could get down wit you
It's got me contemplating, I don't think I'm ready
I don't think I'm ready, baby, I don't think I'm ready, baby

Oooh, oooh I been thinking about all the things that we could do
But I don't know if I could get down wit you
It's got me contemplating, I don't think I'm ready
I don't think I'm ready, baby, I don't think I'm ready, baby

It's a catch 22, will I stay or will I go?
'Cause your kissin' on me and I don't know what to do
My body saying yes, but my mind is saying no
Oooh, oooh, oooh, what I'm gon' do, do, do?
About you, you, you, I'm so confused, fused, oooh

Oooh, oooh I been thinking about all the things that we could do
But I don't know if I could get down wit you
It's got me contemplating, I don't think I'm ready
I don't think I'm ready, baby, I don't think I'm ready, baby

Oooh, oooh I been thinking about all the things that we could do
But I don't know if I could get down wit you
It's got me contemplating, I don't think I'm ready
I don't think I'm ready, baby, I don't think I'm ready, baby

Oooh, oooh, oooh, what I'm gon' do, do, do?
About you, you, you, I'm so confused, fused, oooh

Cherish is an R&B group, as well as a Japanese pop duet. The latter may also be tagged チェリッシュ

Cherish is an American R&B and hip hop quartet consisting of the sisters Farrah King (born February 17, 1984), Neosha King (born January 26, 1986), and twins Felisha and Fallon King (born June 5, 1987). The four sisters are originally from ]Illinois, but moved to Atlanta to further their musical career.

Cherish's first single, entitled "Miss P" was produced by Jermaine Dupri, written by Kandi and featured Da Brat, released by Warner Bros.' imprint Reprise Records. They can also be found on Da Brat's single "In Luv Wit Chu" in 2003. They also recorded 3 songs for The Powerpuff Girls: Power Pop soundtrack called "Chemical X", "Power of a Female" and "Me and My Girls". They completed a whole album named The Moment that was shelved for undisclosed reasons. After 3 years the group came back with the summer hit "Do It to It" which featured Sean Paul of the YoungBloodZ. The single hit the Billboard Hot 100 at number 12 and entered many other charts including the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs on Billboard and many more. The second single off the album was "Unappreciated".

Their sophomore album entitled The Truth was released on May 13, 2008. The first single, "Killa" hit the Top 40 on the Pop charts, while the follow-up is "Amnesia". In a recent interview member, Fallon, described the album as: "The biggest difference to me is the fact that you grow artistically whenever you’re being creative and we’ve been creative for the past couple of years. Our artistry has grown. When we wrote The Truth, we named the album The Truth because basically every song on the album is from personal experiences and we wanted to get personal with our fans. We want everybody to know that they’re not alone going through these things and we’re here."

Cherish is also the name of a duet from Japan in the 70s. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
