Bob got his start playing small venues around central Europe and the Mid-Western United States. He soon gained several residencies and began producing his own music in the mid 90's. Having good success with his shows and productions he gained notoriety and began hosting FM Radio programs in Switzerland and the States.

In 2005, while gigging in Ibiza, Bob decided to team up with some other DJ / Producer friends and launch their own label. Since then, Crooked Spine Records has been making a name for itself in dance music circles as a staple of high quality dark Techno, Electro and Minimal.

If you ask anyone who has seen him play, they will tell you. "Bob Foxx outshines other acts." Not only does he have the fundamental skills of a great DJ, he knows how to take control of a venue and make the night memorable.

In addition to his great live shows, Bob's list of adventures and accomplishments is impressive. His story includes remix projects with Public Enemy & Def Jam artists, massive raves with 4000+ attendees, underground warehouse parties in London, beach parties in Turkey, free parties in Switzerland, regular nights in NYC and annual gigs in Ibiza.

Bob prides himself on creativity and most people would describe his style as straight forward and dark. He has been compared to the likes of Trentemoller, Frankie Bones, Richie Hawtin, Booka Shade, and Jeff Mills… to name a few.

When it comes to production; Bob is always busy. He is constantly working on new mix tapes, original productions, remixes and mastering projects.

Major station radio play in many countries, international bookings and repeated great reviews are the best reward for his hard work.

His last 3 albums: "Sub-Minimal Messages III,” “Sub-Minimal Messages IV,” & “Friends From Above” are all available on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon MP3, Napster, SnoCap, eMusic, Groupie Tunes, Lala and in limited release on vinyl.

He is currently in the studio working on several projects to be released throughout 2008.

He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and you can catch him mixing live at one of his many residencies around the city.
