Cameron 'Quote' Bailey was born in Baltimore, MD on July 22nd, 1990 but the aspiring artist parents didn't plan to have a child at all. Being only in high school, Cameron's father Craig Bailey played on the varsity baseball team at Edmonson High. This past time was Craig's favorite sport and he was well on his way to becoming a major league baseball player. So young and in Love, Cameron's mom Chanda Stovall was dating the high prized player. During a casual baseball practice, Chanda came to the field surprisingly and yelled to Craig "I'm pregnant!". Being shocked, Craig fell out in the outfield. Unprepared to raise a child, Craig's quick reaction was to get an abortion and that's exactly what he told Chanda to do. On the way to the hospital, Cameron's mom heard a strange voice in her head that told her not to get the abortion. Now Chanda's body was never fit to have a child due to certain conditions, but she listened to the voice and rebelled against the abortion.

After Cameron was born, he watched his mom suffer for years and years until he was 9 years old. Attending an eerie hospital visit, Cameron knew that this visit was different from all the others. The sobbing toddler said to his mother "I don't want you to die....I Love You". The last words Cameron ever heard his mom speak were "Call you father, tell him to come get you.I Love You". That very next day, Cameron lost the one woman that he loved most. The toddler just had memories to reminisce about his mother from the time they journeyed to Oakland,CA, to visiting amusement Parks, or just at home talking.

Throughout school, Quote was placed in classes such as Chorus, Poetry, and he even played violin in 5th grade. Art was something Cameron was heavy incorporated with as he also took classes from elementary to high school. Chanda graduating with her master's degree in data entry & technology, Cameron knew how important school was to his mom. Yet, it was a goal he no longer had passion for and his journey in with music began.

Quote attended 2 college's after graduating high school but soon dropped out, and with a mind full of anger and intelligence Quote ventured to try music. This was not what his mother would have wanted, but since it was something that stuck with him since the beginning. He partnered up with two fellow friends to form a group but soon became solo short after. Cameron found the stage name 'Quote' as he always use to quote other artist lyrics but he then said to himself "One day, the entire world will quote me". Quote's drive and determination is much different from other artists, as he does not do music for money or fame but to avenge his mom.
