While the rest of the music industry has found a new best friend in the vocoder and merely continues their long-standing alliance with the synthesizer, The Perfects are one of the few bands that seamlessly meld those futuristic sounds with the melodic core of yesterday. Echoing the works of Duran Duran and The Cure, The Perfects are quickly cultivating a fan-base as rabid as those in the early days of music videos, when their inspirations ruled the airways. Founding member Ric Peters leads The Perfects on vocals, backed by Scott Griffith on guitars and Paul Van Kop on drums. Heading into the studio with Nic Hard (The Bravery, The Church), The Perfects came back with the self-titled EP that won over critics and new fans alike. DJ Richard Vission, whose work often appears on the top of the Billboard charts, did the remix for the song "Shipwrecked." Following the EP, The Perfects released their debut album Future Automatic, which was praised by critics and hailed as “pop genius” by Revolt Magazine. Coupling strong records with exciting, frenetic live shows, The Perfects proved themselves to be more than just another studio act.

With all the fervor surrounding The Perfects, it’s no surprise that Kings of A&R, an industry leader in finding hot new talents discovered them. Shortly after, Bunim/Murray Productions reached out for a licensing deal on a plethora of shows, including Keeping Up with the Kadashians, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, The Spin Crowd, Road Rules, The Real World and Bad Girls Club Miami. The Perfects quickly shot up to the top spot on Indie Charts, new wave category. Often in demand, the Baltimore band kept busy playing in front of packed crowds from coast to coast, including a rousing performance at The 2011 Canadian Music Festival.

Following the disasters in Japan, The Perfects, along with prolific stars like Sara Bareilles, Tori Amos, Josh Ritter and Ani DiFranco were chosen to take part in the Songs of Love for Japan compilations, with proceeds donated to Shelter Box to aid in relief efforts. The featured track in the compilations, “New Life” is part of The Perfects new album Many Nights, to be released in the summer of 2011. The first single "Girls That Dance," digitally distributed by Interscope, is sure to titillate the eardrums and send people to the dance floor. With Nic Hard returning to man the boards, Many Nights is sure to introduce The Perfects to a new wave of fans. In addition, the new album will offer remixes from Grammy award winning producer Chris Vrenna, DJ Richard Vission, Lucian Walker, DJ Jen Lasher and introducing Vanity Crush. Pete Jones from Public Image Ltd. makes a special appearance on guitars for the track “The Hidden.” Is it possible that a band named The Perfects may have just created the perfect album for 2011? Absolutely!
