The Imperfectionist is English, born in Wessex, raised in Essex and eventually settled in East Anglia, after a slight detour to Arabia. The Imperfectionist wants to make music that's very good. He does this the best he can with the resources he has to hand. Though he will always be the darling of song, he is falling in love with all kinds of instrumental music recently, and may end up creating some before long.

He would essentially love to live a kind of Cole Porter lifestyle: rise at 3PM, have a light breakfast and a cigarette, write a song on the sofa whilst still in dressing gown, have a celabratory cigarette upon completing said song, dress for dinner, go out for a night at the theatre/club/opera/party of a friend or friends (delete as applicable), come home despicably late, repeat until death.
