The Dream Merchants were a South African folk duo from the sixties. It comprised of two Billy's, Billy Forrest and Billy Andrews. One of their hits was the Bob Dylan song, 'Love Minus Zero' (1966), which was their first single.

Billy Forrest and Billy Andrews formed The Dream Merchants in 1966 and proceeded to release three albums and singles which are produced by Graeme Beggs.

Another well-known hit of The Dream Merchants was 'Land Of Milk And Honey' (1966), which was their second single.

Their debut album, 'Predictions And Things', which was released in 1966, won a Sari in 1967.

After their second album, 'Hang On To A Dream', which was released in 1967, they split, but in 1969 they came together again to record their third album, 'World Of The Dream Merchants', which was released in 1970.
