Matt Davis (16 Dec 1976 - 10 August 2003), was an American vocalist and guitarist from Wichita, Kansas. He is best known as the frontman of the post-hardcore band Ten Grand, and was well-loved as a passionate artist in Iowa's hardcore scene, prior to his sudden death in 2003. He played a massive number of shows and had a variety of other projects, including Brazil (emo band), Sergio Leone (ambient/experimental project), The Haunting (ambient project), and Sunshine Viper (experimental project). About a decade after his passing, his brother Dan Davis released Let's Drown Each Other, a collection of raw, emotional acoustic tracks that Matt Davis had recorded in the basement of his family home, but had never released.
