Hailing from North County, San Diego, Steez76D (aka Stephen Hansink) is bringing forth an abstract, tongue-twisting take on hip-hop with a no-holds-barred mindset. Being born and raised in Oceanside, California his debut record “Summer Daze” pays tribute to his deep roots on the west coast and his home city of San Diego. The record is littered with imagery and connective tissue for the listener to grasp on to. “I take pride in my storytelling and want every listener to feel my emotions when they hear me rap” claims Steez in an interview with the North County Coaster. Stephen began rapping upon graduating high school and had his first big show in the summer of 2011. Since then he has continued his education at Mira Costa College studying Audio Engineering and has never taken his eye off the prize of one day taking the stage with the greats in a nationwide music festival.
