THA BOOGIE is a group of young creative and talented individuals who write, produce, record, arrange and perform their own music. The unique style of each member compliments the other as they journey into a genre of music that can be enjoyed by all. This mixture of Pop, Hip hop, R&B and Alternative Soul, Has been deemed “Experimental”. THA BOOGIE has an urban originality that fuels them to produce songs that have no boundaries. If you like Prince and Outkast, you will love Tha Boogie. The group has performed locally at many park festivals, clubs, schools and local charitable music and dance events/shows. They have written and produced music for a number of up and coming artist. THA BOOGIE is the next astonishing Group to come out of Southern California, with a fan base that is growing everyday. Major labels are showing great interest in the group and their distinct style. They are currently working on their debut album entitled “LONG TIME KNOW SEE...”. The groups influences consist of Prince, Outkast, No Doubt, The Fugees, Gnarls Barkley, Timbaland, Coniyac, Sam Cooke, Radiohead, Brandy, Kelis, Playa, Aaliyah, The Neptunes, Missy Elliot, Cold Play and The Beatles to name a few. Left to right is: LEJ!N: Singer/ Music Producer, is a 20 yr old college student who can create sounds that set the group apart from the rest. The 20year old prodigy has been producing since the age of 12 and playing the drums since he was 4. Vocally he adds a gospel soul that plays a major role in the groups signature sound. His creative ear adds the flavor and content that Tha Boogie represents. K.ORUS: Singer/songwriter is a 20year old college student who’s distinct vocal tone has stood out since she began singing at the age of 7. Most commonly she has been compared to beloved artist like Kelis and Lauryn Hill. Her corky since of style and individuality along with her sultry voice completes the group’s vision and overall sense of direction. NUSCHOOL: Singer/Songwriter/Rapper/Vocal Producer and Arranger is a 22 yr old college graduate, with a B.A in Music Business. His ear for melodies and lyrical content is the glue that gels the group’s over all sound together.
