Hi, my name is Paul and The Winterless North is my solo project. I write songs about spiders, black holes, and other phenomena.

I write, record, and produce these songs in my bedroom studio. After hearing some of my early work, a music producer commented that "this could be early Simon and Garfunkel for the next generation..."

In 2014, while living in a winter rental on the beach in northeastern Massachusetts, a friend of mine introduced me to Soundcloud and that helped me to start making music more consistently. A short time later I left Massachusetts, moved back west, and eventually made my way north to Alaska.

I've found that in every journey there is inspiration to be found and oftentimes it's tucked away in the unlikely places. I hope to capture just a tiny piece of it and put it into the songs I make. Thanks for listening.
