qwirk is mike schankel (guitar, vox, pedals, sometimes keyboards, etc), bob libby (guitar, vox, pedals, koas pad, etc) and eric pilgren (drums). the three have been playing music since 1999 but the line-up as qwirk was formed around 2003. the first cd was made in the winter of 2006. it featured 10 songs that were recorded in eric's parents basement in perkiomenville. qwirk is now primarily based out of phoenixville and have a repertoire of nearly 30 songs, which have been disseminated through free demo cds at various shows.
