Palmetto Wave (born August 31st, 1993), is an American hip-hop recording artist, designer, writer & producer from Gainesville, Florida. In 1997, he & his parents moved further south due to business opportunities. Growing up in the residential suburbs, Palmetto used his artistic drawing skills to impress friends & family for years before he began to get familiar with music. When he was a teenager, he moved from city to city with his mother after his parents divorced.

Starting in 2007, he had become musically inspired after moving to Atlanta, Georgia, where he had taught himself to craft his own instrumentals, designs & record/engineer songs at a young age. During the autumn of 2012, Wave moved to Miami to live with his uncle for the opportunity to learn & grow as an artist. At 19-years-old, he then attended Miami International University of Art & Design to earn a degree in Audio Production, soon to drop out in order to use his newly gained insight on music in his own recording studio.

Now independent & at the age of 20, he intends to spread his sound to the masses. Influenced by almost every popular music genre of the present & the past, Palmetto Wave hopes to provide listeners with music from the future.
