The name Tripla Concordia is borrowed from the title of a collection of English music (by Matthew Locke and contemporaries), published in London, 1677, explicitly for two parts and basso continuo, that is to say for the basic formation of the ensemble. Tripla Concordia is invited to play in various important European venues, including the Schlosskonzerte of Salzburg, the Urbino International Festival of Ancient Music, the Festival Internacional de Musica Antigua in Daroca (Spain), the G.O.G of Genoa, Musica e Poesia a S.Maurizio in Milan, the CIDIM of Rome la Cité de la musique in Paris. They have made radio and television recordings in the countries of European Community, as well as several gramophone recordings. They work with such musicians as Frans Brüggen, Jordi Savall, Fabio Biondi, Kees Boeke. In 1992, the french magazine Diapason judged Tripla Concordia's "Canzoni, Fantasie e Sonate" (CD Nuova Era 7041) among the most interesting CD of 1991. Their recording of the Sonatas for Recorder and B.C. by Mancini (Nuova Era 7138) was chosen by the Cini Foundation of Venice as one of the best production of italian Music in 1993.
