Falcon Arrow is a Minneapolis art rock two-piece, with looping bass riffs and drums, combining DIY/Garage punk rock with the techniques of early minimalist compositions. The band’s live performances are intense, raw energy amidst the backdrop of a multi-screen video installation.

Falcon Arrow was first formed by Matt Reints. bass, who met drummer Rhett Roberts in 2007. The first show was in Saint Paul, MN on June 15th, 2007. A free cd-r of demos was recorded and given away for free at shows with a various combination of colors on the covers. Rhett left the band in the summer of 2008.
Later in 2008, Dav Kemp joined Falcon Arrow as drummer with Matt Reints still playing bass. In December 2008, Falcon Arrow began playing shows again. In the spring of 2009, Falcon Arrow released its first official release, a self-titled EP consisting of 5 tracks. The Falcon Arrow EP received some critical success and Septaplex received regular radio play. Falcon Arrow was featured in the 11th episode of Northern Outpost, an internet music show about the Twin Cities music community, playing Petit Bit live after a brief interview. Later in 2009, Falcon Arrow released it's second EP, Cryptoscience and Hard Times. Cryptoscience and Hard Times featured 6 tracks and presented a grittier sound, which was a closer reflection of Falcon Arrow's live sound. Cryptoscience and Hard Times received even more critical success, being voted as the top 13 release of 2009 by Now Like Photographs and its listeners.
Falcon Arrow regularly plays shows in the Twin Cities, MN and has traveled around the upper midwest, playing shows in Mankato, Milwaukee, Cedar Falls, Lincoln, Iowa City, and Davenport.
