With the release of his 2016 Spanish remix of “panda,” Kenny Staxx presented a shot of what would become the Latin trap of the Bronx. Now, he is conspiring to make things better all over the world.

A sunny summer has confined the artist to an apartment in the River Park Towers neighborhood of the Bronx, where he is currently under house arrest. For a federal case in 2018 leaving 2021 with a compassionate release due to the Corona virus pandemic. Kenny Staxx balances spending his time with his family and making music from his own apartment while finishing his time on house arrest and probation. He is very deep and passionate when it comes to advising young and future artists not to make the same mistakes he did. Specifically, about writing checks and depositing them into bank accounts. He is very careful not to get involved in these amateur scams, but his deep knowledge of the subject betrays his innocence.

After his release from federal prison, Kenny Staxx released a single with a music video "Bandolero pt3" prod. by Phxntombeatz, in which he has had an impact in New York and many Spanish countries such as the Dominican Republic, Chile, Venezuela and the list goes on. In the video “Bandolero Pt3” you can see his ankle monitor and he also exposed his discovery of his federal case and talks about what happened, and his point of view regarding the corrupt legal system in New York.

"I am grateful for this wake-up call, it could have been worse," he says. “If I am corrupted, then the system is more corrupted. Because only God can judge me ”

Kenny Staxx is too focused on building his legacy to be known as one of the best Latino street artists to come out of town. Since releasing his remix of Panda, he has become one of the most talked about Latin artists in New York.
