Jon attended 30 schools up to the age of 18 on three continents. Both high school in canada and comprehensive in the uk. The artist has been releasing music since 1984 and cassette tapes exist of acid works from this period according to the artist. Jon provided sound installations during ‘87 focusing on one minute tape loops. The first white label releases emerged during the halcyon 89/90 period. First album released 1993 millenium records “artifice and architecture” followed by “augur” (1995 plink plonk), “dependency culture” ep (1997 octopus) and the album “six dragons” on inky blackness 2002. new album entitled “1984” released august 2008. Four and half albums over 15 years…perhaps not the most prolific of acts, yet always focusing on quality and originality.
Jon’s played at all kinds of venues and clubs worldwide and is currently preparing to tour his new work. little known fact: has to be the only techno artist to be played by both whispering bob harris and john peel. jon’s also known to sing a mean george jones cover!
