Roady (Radio Edit) Lyrics

You know it feels so good yea yeah

you know it feels so good, when I know you're skanking with me
so good when i know you're skanking
so good when you do

yes it feels so good, when I know you're rocking with me
so good when i know you're rocking
so good when you do

x2

I said it feels so good I never wanted to leave
im back on the mic and we do it with ease
and lovin every minute when we get on the ...
we take the music to the limit when we loving and living

say where do you go
where do you go
well I'd really like to know
oh where'd you go

when it all comes down to it
and the pressure's on for life
how do you keep skanking through the darkness to the light
how do you ride it through
like its your nature too
well I've been watching you
watching the things you do
I see the way you groove
make me believe your ways
where do you go to play
show me that peaceful place
that peaceful place yea

I'm back, yo I'm a Sheelahroc the microphone
who's back, Fat Freddys me we all up in the zone
special editions and balance down in the south created
I had a plan to elevate and so I elevate it
a blue sky, the heavens going far beyond
expectations for myself and where I came from
open your eyes and take a look at what's before you now
you better know how to do it you bet I'll show you how
I've got the lyrics, and I've got the beats
put it all together collaboration complete, no defeat
even if you don't like us you'll just do it for the love of music, yeah
we do it for the love of music yeah
do it for the love of music
do it for the love of music
do it for the love of music
do it for the love of music
do it for the love of music
do it for the love of music
do it for the love of music
do it for the love of music
do it for the love of music wo-oh-oh

spark to the fire, push to the flame
mentally project positive all day
can't stand the limit, down to the one drop minor
all together on the fire
FIRE!, and push to the flame
mentally project positive all day
can't stand the limit
do it for the love of music wo-oh-oh
fire
fire
fire
do it for the love of music wo-oh-oh
fire
fire
fire
fire

I see, on the horizon
we come to burn bright
pushing for the truth and the right
we come we don't stop
free flow moving with the drop
taking it to multiple directions
pulling you where, we're universal connections
free soul collective, I'm respective
never dwelling on the negative, I respect this
beat this jam, putting in work for the rasta plan
keeping it fresh for the heads who be
non-stop dropping it naturally
dropping on a regular basis
dropping on a regular basis, we
dropping on a regular basis, we
be dropping on a regular
on a regular basis

Founded in 2001, the current lineup consists of DJ Fitchie, Joe Dukie, Toby Chang, HoPepa, Chopper Reedz, Jetlag Johnson, and Dobie Blaze. The name "Fat Freddy's Drop" is a reference to a piece of blotter art that was circulating in the NZ dance scene in the late 90's.
