1) Ryan Young is a Scottish fiddle player. Young studied and graduated with a first class honours degree in Scottish Music from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland followed by a Master’s in Music. Young is a two time BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award nominee, a Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Award winner, and was as a finalist in BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician 2015 and 2016.

A true DIY artist in practice and spirit, Young booked himself on a midwest/Colorado tour in 2006 culminating in an appearance at Diversafest in Tulsa, OK, where he was selected as a showcasing artist and chosen to lend a track to the festival compilation cd.
For the latter part of 2008, Young was performing solo in many of the hippest coffeshops around Austin. The majority of 2009 was spent in the studio, with Young seeing White Citrus through to completion, as well as producing sessions for a broad range of Texas artists, playing many private events, and even performing weekly at an evening church service.
