Belle Noire is/was an alternative rock/post-hardcore band from San Jose, California, United States. The band released an EP and an album before changing their name to just Belle. In 2018 they signed to Tragic Hero Records.

The band wrote and recorded the self- titled EP in RHL studios in Fremont, California with longtime friend and colleague Stephen Hawkins, in which the first 6 songs written were recorded, and pressed to CD. The band strives to perform live with passion, and energy, to make you feel what the songs mean. Pulling influence from many different areas, Like Thrice, Deftones, Circa Survive, Moving Mountains, and many, many other acts.

They entered the Studio with Dryw Owens (From Indian Lakes, Sianvar) to record their full length, which garnered great reception upon its premier on absolutepunk.net, and the album What It Means To Be was released July 2016. The band is honored to have shared the stage with From Indian Lakes, The Ataris, I The Mighty, A Lot Like Birds, Hit The Lights, Idlehands, Ghost Parade, American Scene, Further Seems Forever, A Static Lullaby, and many others.
