They call me Spits, Spits Nelson, Joshua, or J-Nel, and yes I do it for the people. The beats are my psychologists and the rap is my therapy.

North Jersey (Newark) grew me, South Jersey (Willingboro) raised me, came up to Boston (Fisher College), then the flow got crazy! I’m just like ya’ll, I enjoy basketball games, X-Box 360, push start vehicles, the WWF, rainy days, and Haagen Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream.

I’ve been doing hip-hop music for the last six years. My work includes songs produced by Korona, a young, talented producer who blossomed at producing hip hop music of all types. In other words, he was a beast! He taught me to appreciate music and try different things when writing. I owe a lot of my success to having met him in 2004.

Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of working with some dope artists such as Iron Mic, Haas, V.S., Mastermyndz, Siiyara Nelson, Jimmy Wyldtree, and 2nd Avenue. I’m currently working with a new upstart record company called B.L.A.K. (Born Leaders Appointed Kings) Label Music.
