Sonic Circus was formed in December 2004 in Linkoping, Sweden.
It all started in that same summer of 2004 when guitarist and songwriter Magnus Skogsberg left his old band in Trollhättan. A friend of his, Fredrik Sundberg teamed up with him, sharing Magnus vision of a hot rock n roll band. Said and done Magnus and Fredrik started write songs that summer in Linköping while trying to find a drummer and a bassplayer. They put adds in the local papers and message notes in different stores. After a couple of auditions they had found their men. Daniel Björkegren on bass and Göran Rydgård on drums. Sonic Circus was complete!

Intensive rehearsals started immediately and soon they had developed their own sound. There were loads of songs already and already in January 2005 they played their first gig in Linkoping. After that a demo was on the list so in March the group recorded their first EP, a demo with 5 songs on it. The demo was well recieved among people and some internetsites ( among them oasisgeneration.com). The demo was produced at Studieförbundet Sensus studio in Linkoping by the band and producer Alexander Carlsson.
After this the band continued to ship out the demo to everyone with the slightest connection within the industri such as, magazine, recordcompanys, producers etc.
