Luxora was formed in the fall of 2008 by Stephen Favazza (Tenki (FutureApple Tree Records), Dreamend (Graveface Records)) and Kelly Rice (Makeover Machine, Drum(or tape), Dubmaster K, Waxing Gibbous). Jana Rice (Angler, Camorene, Die Mascara) and Jeremy Lane joined the fold shortly after. Songwriting duties are shared by the band. Their sound in influenced by 60's space rock, 70's punk/post-punk and 80's electronic/shoegaze combined with dub/trance-like beats. The glimmering melodies coming from the guitars, bass, keys, accordion and melodica form a beautiful warm sound that keeps moving in all directions. Read more on Last.fm.
