Bruno Pereira aka Over8 was born in Philadelphia, USA in 1984, moving to Portugal at the age of 9. He noticed early that music was his passion. His first experience as a musician was producing electronic music at the age of 19.

In 2005 he studied Music Production at etic (Escola Técnica de Imagem e Comunicação) in Cais do Sodre, Lisbon.
Shortly afterwards he got his first turntables and converted his room into a provisional studio.
Feeling the need for Djing, in 2009 over8 starts his Dj fase. Later he was found by Redukt, AU Records, LGM Label and Fourth Kind, and started releasing his own tracks.
Album (Eta) and EP (Draining bad thoughts EP) got reviews on DanceClub Magazine (PT) December 2009 edition and June 2010 edition.
