Erik Alex Bothazy who is professionally known as the international recording artist P.R.E.A.C.H. (Peacefully Respect Everyone Amongst Continuous Hate) was born in Oradea, Romania on January 6, 1985.

P.R.E.A.C.H.’s “footsteps” on what he calls his “Journey Road” began early in the fall of September 1991, when his family immigrated to the United States seeking a new start from a former war torn and communist country. Reality set in fast for Preach and his family as they dealt with economic changes, engaging in a new system, understanding and learning to adapt and overcome a new language barrier were some of the adversities that young Preach witnessed his family take on first hand.
Hip Hop/Rap was a culture that fascinated and appealed to P.R.E.A.C.H. He would find himself imitating and replicating the many sounds of G Funk rhythm and the rugged heavy bass lines from the likes of such artists as Bone thugs N Harmony, 2 Pac, Easy E, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg that were associated with a sound that stood out to him like no other. Music videos were becoming tutors in aiding P.R.E.A.C.H., by helping him pronounce and articulate words. It is safe to say that just a few years later around the age of 9 his life would never be the same due to the magic of music. P.R.E.A.C.H. wrote his first Rhyme at the age of twelve, and the dream of becoming a worldwide artist was born. His drive, determination and full fledged ambition for the love of music was quickly recognized by his peers, thus earning him a solid reputation, at such an early age.
By the age of fifteen, he recorded his first compilation and word quickly spread around the south side of St. Louis about a foreign kid with a “rapid Fire delivery”. As time progressed his vocabulary sharpened, his message became more clear, his confidence grew, and along with his ability to captivate large crowds, whether it be a local house party, or live performance as did his buzz. In 2004 P.R.E.A.C.H. formed a rap group with friends from his neighborhood calling themselves “Wet Grimlinz”. Together they recorded five street albums before they went their separate ways further more acknowledging P.R.E.A.C.H. as not only a validated musician, but also a new brand. Read more on Last.fm.
