Klive Kraven was born on February 13, 1988 in Baltimore, Maryland. Back in 1994 at the young age of 6, he had already began his venture into underground hip-hop. Growing up in Pasadena, Maryland he was encouraged to follow his dreams by fellow peers. In 1996-1998 he released his first demo cassettes under several different monikers, which were locally distributed. In 1999 he realeased his first demo compact disc, which contained 4 tracks no longer in circulation.

Two years later in 2001 Klive Kraven (then known as IQ “The Number 1 Goon”), started Goldminded Records. This is the label that currently houses Klive Kraven, he is also the president and C.E.O. of this label, which houses several other artists. In 2008 Klive Kraven officially established Goldminded Records legally and began to create the empire that it is today. In 2009 Klive formed a group called “lost Legends” who released their first album on Christmas of 09′. Now in 2011 Klive is working on a new album titled “Death Comes in the Dusk”. As A producer he had started creating productions back in 2001.

He has produced for several emcees on his label and several others who are simply affiliated. Kraven has been quoted as saying: “I have been doing this a long time now, when people ask me for a beat I just ask there style. I’ve been making beats for 8 years, I have thousands of beats sitting in my arsenal”. Kraven has also released several full length instrumental albums under his label Goldminded Records. In 2009, Klive Kraven was signed to Anno Domini Records, a production dream team of 7 highly talented producers. 2010 holds a bright future for the upcoming emcee/producer. Read more on Last.fm.
