August Grant, who went by the artist name AUGUST 08, was an African-American songwriter, musician, and artist signed to Red Bull Records and 88Rising. Notable works by August include his collaboration with Rich Brian on “Arizona,” a track on Brian’s debut project Amen, as well as 88rising’s “Midsummer Madness.” and his work with DJ Khaled “I’m the One” prior to signing with 88rising.
