Nifrost is a folkloric black metal band from Jølster in Sogn og Fjordane, which was formed in 2005.The band makes a rurally oriented metal rooted in the black with a heavy infusion of folk tunes, combined with ripping riffs and screaming lyrics in the members' mother tongue, "Jølstramål".
